Which Blade? ~or~ Catch of the Season

One of you has captured the heart of this Season's perfect catch, the scion of a wealthy and well-respected family. The problem is, your family isn't Quality.

Tonight, you will be attending a dinner party at the home of your beloved, and you need to somehow win the approval of the Family, who are dead set against the match. Fortunately, some of the other guests are allies; others are definitely not. 

Knowing that you are nobody from no particular family, the Family has polished up every piece of their elaborate silverware set, and set them all out on the table at every place setting. The family wealth is built on fishing; their heraldic symbol is the sturgeon which is served with reverent ceremony as the fish course that concludes every meal.

Will you be able to successfully navigate the shoals of society and silverware with the help of your allies, correctly manipulate the fish blade to tackle the sturgeon, and win the hand of your love with their Family's approval? Or will you take the bait of your enemies, commit some solecism, and force your beloved to choose between your love and their family?

 This is a silly oneshot with a comedy of manners feel and some mechanics to resolve situations. Unleash your imagination, melodrama, and humor as you roleplay through a dinner party.
